Yeah, sure. My buddy Dan. He did a jingle for a local hockey team in K.C. (Blades) back in the 90's. I found my old Blades t-shirt, and gave him a call. I sang the jingle on his machine, and told him I was thinking about him....You probably wont get a ton of honesty on this question, from guys. LOL!

Yes, I call my Dad allot when I know he needs to here my voice, (it’s a Father / Son Thing) and then I tell him I am thinking about him and I miss him, Yep, his my Dad and my best friend, I just love my old man!

Yeah, I wasn't quite so geigh about it, I mean I check up on my homies if they are going through rough times, but I don't say "Hey dood, I was just thinking about ya." hahahaha

Yes, not uncommon at all for me to call friends and tell them that; but we've known one another for years and they do the same.
