i keep myself busy with meaningless tasks or exercise. if that doesnt do the trick, i have a few shots of something strong to take the edge off.

Accept that i feel sad but try not to dwell on the feeling and increase it's effect on me. I read, write, listen to music, ride my horse, go to the beach, call a friend, find something to keep my thoughts busy and in general..make a point of encouraging positive thoughts to over ride the negative ones. I just do the best i can to work through the sadness and find the smile at the end :)

Try to cheer other's up & bring a joy into their lives. And by doing so it seems to add joy to mine.

i have to accept that im sad, i ofcourse cry, pray and or write about it. talking helps as well. i have to understand what is getting me upset to begin with. is it something i did? can i change and or control it? can i make it better? am i letting someone else own my feelings? when im sad im sad, i cry and talk myself into feeling better. its a diff answer for each situation. good luck and cheer up!!

Hold my Vicky, or go for a ride on my Harley, or call some of my children, or go for a long walk or a short run ... any of quite a few things, now that you ask me about it. But holding my Vicky is my favorite! : )))

Listen to "Heart of Gold" and "My Girl" if it's related to love, and "Don't worry be happy" is always good.
