What emotion do you feel when you meet, or hear of, someone with the same first name? Or do you not feel anything because it's not that big of a deal to you?

I am surprised my name is not that common in my age group.

I was in a class of 7 and there were two of us with my name. Pretty useful though when I wanted to stay out of trouble by standing next to the other gal with my name because then looking in our direction and saying our name was a little dangerous for the teacher.

I do feel a slight kinship when meeting someone with my name.

I am really possesive of my name. I feel like only people I like should have it. When I watch TV I sometimes think that the characters would be more interesting if they just had better names (like mine)

My name is so uncommon that the half dozen times I've run across someone with my name in my lifetime, I've only felt surprise.

I have to be honest....I look to see who is prettier and I also try to figure out if our personalities are similiar. I have at times thought....I don't like them having my name or that they don't look like a Regina. The name Regina....means Queen....so I kinda hope they are pretty so they can live up to their name.

I have a part-time job answering phones at a pizza place. There are two seperate people who have my first and last name. I always try to get the delivery guys to tell them I said hi, but they never do. : (

I have a very common name, but I still respond when someone says my name even if it is not for me. I am used to it.
