Not if you don't interrupt the flatterer with a major warning when they're directly underneath a falling safe. Just think of all the ensuing flattery that you'll get once the flatterer realizes that you've saved their life. :D

Yes. I once complimented someone who kept on denying it. And it wasn't very attractive, to be honest.

Agree.."silence is golden"..after the flattery has ended, a simple "thank you very much..that was very kind" is in order! :)

Yes, but if the person who is flattering you is obsessive about you, you could be there for days while they rattle on about you. At this point i think it would be better to interupt. Then run away.

something my mom always told me...if someone is giving you praise....just say "Thank You"....
