Do you think that the whole shooting down of broken down spy satelite could be just an excuse to test out a new anti missile system? Since USA is trying to install those in Poland and Czech rep which is making Russia mad.

Ah possibly, but i know it seems like a fishy thing. I mean they say they are shooting it down to keep the containation is space, but i would think some of it would still come back to Earth. What kind of satelite is it? If the satelite could exit Earths atmosphere then it should be able to renter. I guess it should have a landing system. And how many million$ is each shot? They don't even know where it's going to land do they??
