If you check the manual for that particular model, it will likely tell you that a particular static IP is used by default and must be configured (to match your network's IP scheme) or it used DHCP, in which case it would get an IP from your router (assuming it features DHCP server functionality) and should show up in the DHCP leases on the router. Either way, you'll probably need to do at least a minimal amount of configuration by access the admin web interface via a web browser.
