If the answer is correct, no. Seems redundant. I'll give the person who answered points though.

I have a few times but only by accident, usually when half asleep. I prefer to give points to the correct answer.

Yes, if I know the answer I answer them. I am not sure the answer is right, but I have a good hunch, I take a guess and answer the question. It's like "give it your best shot."
