  • I don't find any one finger easier than another. I can get the widest vibrato from my 2nd and 3rd fingers as I think most people can. But they are all trained to do it. I am so used to it I do it when playing piano which is so stupid :)
  • Left ring finger
  • On guitar, I cheat and use three fingers :) It's easier to get more power in the bending that way.
  • The best vibrato is gotten by your ring finger if you bend, supported by your index and middle finger. It's usually a full step up and then vibrato. The other type of vibrato, like B.B. King, uses the index finger and does not include bending or a slight bend to pitch 1/2 step up. Like a flat third to a third on the G string when playing a pentatonic scale for instance. Good example is my own blues playing: http://www.myspace.com/texassouthernblues Hope y'all like it, more guitar on 12 bar blues, the other song has a lot of slide. I will also add that I even use my middle finger sometimes, like on the B string on the root note without a bend. that allows me to play in that box easier.
  • My middle finger. But I'm a lousy player, so that may not mean anything.
  • my 3rd finger. I hate doing vibrato with my 4th finger.
