I know what pretty much all of my keys do, to an extent. There is one, however, that I don't understand. On the period key (^shift">"), there's a secondary function (with the "Fn" key) for another period, which is apparently the one for the number pad, which is all a secondary function to save space. I don't understand why I need to have two dots. All dots pretty much look exactly the same, anyway.

Yes. I usually only use the standard keys, because I am working with more than one computer, and I don't want to bother with those extra keys that are not absolutely necessary and that I would find on one computer and not on another. Of course, I must know haw to start the WLAN, if it were not started, for instance.

Most of them....

I know what each of my keyboard's keys do. Not in every program, because it varies! But I do know what they all do. I've reprogrammed more than one keyboard (old and new) so the FN+/CNTL+/ALT+ keys do what I want.

No I pretty much know the uses of the keyboard buttons. Plenty of them I never use but I know they are for functions and stuff.

I just bought my first computer last March. I have no idea what half of this shit is for. I have a button on here that looks like a quarter moon. WTF?
