  • Well there are some cheap round the world tickets available have a look on roundtheworldflights.co.uk also STA travel. Places to go depend on what you are into but some basic RTW tickets include asia/oz and LA. Asia is dead cheap, places such as thailand, loas, vietnam, cambodia, India is just great and dirt cheap. You could spend months visiting these places alone. South africa or oz/nz depending on your preference. If you want a working holiday you can get a working holiday visa in oz which lasts a year which means you can travel longer than a year if you wiah and use one year in oz, you could then move on to new zealand and get a working visa for there. the choices are endless. You could finish your holiday in LA or somewhere similar. Travelling is fantastic, it is something I recommend to everyone and anyone, whether you go with a friend, a group or best of all on your own. You see amazing places, eat great food, get loadsa sunshine and meet really great people, local as well as other travellers. Do it and enjoy it!
  • Tough question as it depends on you. Do you like to stay in expensive hotels or are you happy in cheap ones. Do you want to eat at the best restarants? How many and what kind of souvenirs would you want to purchase? Will you be visiting places that charge admission? How long are you planning to stay? I wouldn't go anywhere without at least $2,000. That's about the average of what I've spent on each of my trips to Italy, France, and England.
