  • Ibuprofen is an analgesic. It is classified as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It can also be used as a treatment for arthritis, fever or other conditions where inflammation plays a role in creating the symptoms. When you take a pain relievers like ibuprofen, it keeps injured or damaged cells from making and releasing prostaglandin. When the cells don't release this chemical, it means that the brain won't get the pain message as quickly or clearly. So your pain goes away or becomes less severe for as long as the cells aren't releasing the chemical. The dose recommended on the package states what is the proper amount for you to take. It works best when taken as directed. Sometimes a doctor will give you additional information regarding the does that is right for you.
  • None. Ibuprofen doesn't work that way. You'd reach lethal levels before you got any narcotic-like effect.
  • Are you really that desperate?
  • Like I told you in the last question, IBUPROFEN WILL NOT CATCH YOU A BUZZ. I even explained why. No one here is going to tell you anything different....
  • yea i am that desperate but i know there is a point to where you can feel light and just chill and im not worried about my liver or dying so other than that how many should i take
  • you can't catch a buzz off ibuprofen. wtf. i'm 5'4 and 110 lbs, and 1800 mg (3 600 mg tabs) doesn't even affect me in the slightest. if you want to get high off a painkiller, man up and find some oxycontin. otherwise, forget it.
  • Oh Man! You missed the cut-off for Ibuprofen to give you a buzz. You have to be at least 6'3" and be about 210Lbs. And then all you have to do is lick the coating of the pill.
