If your happy then be happy and stay happy. I was in a similar situation I was 22 she was 18, its not that big a gap, and your going to mature together.

hun, don't sweat it as long you keep your nose clean( it is an expression). you like him alot, are you keeping it cool and be mutual friends?, once he turns 18 you can date and dine out, go to zoo, movies, ect.

Its personal. Honestly It's up to you two to decide if its right or not. I don't think its wrong though. It's personal preference. But even if someone said it was wrong..would you stop dating him? It does help that you have the parents permission, but not everyone is going to approve. Keep in mind your dating someone younger. They might act older and seem more mature but they haven't experienced all the things you have yet, so at times it may seem like your his mom or babysitter... before i got with my fiance ( i was barely 16 and he was going on 22) i liked a younger guy who was 14 i know we were young but we had so much fun together and he was the epitome of my perfect guy! but when it came time to kiss or engage in sexual activities I felt awkward. Weird because he made me feel so comfortable! I broke it off with him and got with henry but i still miss him (secretly) and now i wonder what would have happened if i could have gotten past those weird feelings... obviously i'm glad it didn't work because now i have an amazing daughter and am madly in love with my fiance, henry! I don't know if that's any help but, my fiance and father of my 20 month old is 24 going on 25 in September, and I'm 19. Of course not everyone agrees with our relationship (it was worse in the beginning) but that's the way society is. If everyone agreed than life would be boring. My dad's ex-wife is eleven years younger than him and my moms boyfriend is 4 years younger than her. Every where you look, you'll see others are dating younger or older people. So no I don't think it is bad to date a 16 year old when your twenty. I think it's your life you can live it however you want to. Just be safe.. (sorry if this is too long.. hope it helps though!)
