No. It's the thought & effort that counts; they might just not have a good imagination! I'd feel special :)
-
Hehe ...no ..I would love it :-)
-
um, no i don't think i was. A for effort, right?
-
No, I think it would be pretty cool :)
-
Not at all..The thought and effort is what counts. :)

I understand why you would perhaps think so but the fact is, everything we say and do came from somewhere. We're all informed by different discourses and there's nothing wrong with inter-textual reference- If he had quoted Shakespeare (might have been a bit more cringeworthy) but I bet you would have seen it in an entirely different way right? If the person in question is in any way a slimeball then please disregard what I just said- otherwise give them a break. Though I definitely think that they should know you know .

yah - seems shallow to me - use your imagination

Maybe they thought of the idea then did it and later on found out it was in a movie(it has happened to me). Its them showing how much you mean to them that counts.
-
Absolutely not. Especially if it is from a particularly good movie. Besides, doing anything romantic, going out of their way to be romantic, definitely earns bonus points.
-
It shouldn't. There aren't many ideas out there anymore that are going to be completely original.
-
No way. Especially if it was from a movie we had watched together, or both loved or something.
