I think the mom is the more excepting parent! i think the dad's are the more dissapointed one!

Definitely, while the Dad's may not be that close to their son's due to sexuality etc, they generally do not bring drama, or manipulation into play, alot of times you can meet a guy's mom who really isn't cool at all with her son's sexuality, who is overly accepting of him on the outside while inside she might be furious, and can end up taking some of that out on the one seeing her son. A narcissist. I've been really lucky in the two long term relationships I've been in, alot of ways closer to my in-laws in some ways more than my boyfriend, same as with str8 couples, we didn't have any negative history from years growing up.
