I don't usually GET scared. I have a thing for blood and gore, though, and, if you don't have a problem with nudity or sexual themes, then I say either Gantz or Tokyo Akazukin. I wouldn't waste my time with Elfen Lied. Those are the only two I've read so far that actually caught my attention and kept it. ]:
