short answer no because these people legitimately did something wrong that was against the law. being a communist was not against the law to my knowledge, the little of it i have, but steroids were outlawed in baseball.

Absolutely. The steroids witch hunt has become completely ridiculous. I think it's INSANE that our congress is wasting their time (and our tax money) on this stupidity. It's also incredibly annoying to me that they are going after players only when it's obvious MLB "in the know" about steroid/hgh use and didn't do anything about it. It's particularly disturbing that they are only going after a handful of players (like Bonds & Clemens) really hard when it's OBVIOUS that HUNDREDS of big leaguers have been using steroids/HGH. This includes players on EVERY team. The whole thing is so incredibly hypocritical. It makes me sick. I think they should just drop the whole thing and move on. Forget about it. It's not that big of a deal. It really isn't.

Using steroids is merely another part of the american dream of instant fame, welath and glory..............thrust down the publics' throats for years by hollywood. Doesn't matter how you do it, so long as you are rich..........this is the only goal to be achieved today in america.
