I don't have a spouse and I don't have children. I think it's sad that there are parents who don't want to spend time with their children, though.

i'm a single parent of 2 boys but i have a live-in bf. in the beginning of our relationship he spent loads of time with them. but now, it's an ongoing argument about him not spending enough time with them like he used to. he response?....quit living in the past, that was then and this is now and i don't have time. well, he had the same amount of time back then(4yrs)as he does now... after b**thing enough he finally does something with them. but it hurts the kids b/c they adore him and really values the time he does spend with them.
