  • Mighty noble of you.
  • in kill or be killed i would kill simply because its the natural order of things.
  • I know for me that if it came down to myself and another person in a room, I want to be the one to make it out.
  • I would rather never find myself in a set of circumstances where it was kill or be killed, but if I was I would go with self-preservation.
  • That's your choice. Me? I've got too much to live for...
  • Very silly attitude.
  • 1-if i had to shoot myself or a member of my immediate family i would choose myself. 2-if a guy was running after me with a knife, i would shoot him (kill him) rather then him stabbing me to my death. There is many scenarios, but I think the scenario you are talking about is maybe in the case at a hospital where your friend needs your kidney to survive. if you are fine w/o the kidney, give it but if it will harm you and cause you to die also, keep it. So naturally it is better to kill than to be killed. OR MAYBE YOU ARE SIMPLY SAYING YOU DON'T HAVE THE COLD HEART TO KILL AND YOU'D RATHER HAVE SOMEONE FINISH YOU OFF THAN YOU DOING THAT SINFUL ACT WHICH MAKES SENSE.
  • I would give up my life for someone else rather than take someone else's life as I don't feel I have the right to take a life. Edit: Whoa! -5 for a personal decision. How harsh! I'm sure you won't be spreading much love and cheer or having it returned to you with that attitude
  • No, I kill for the protection of myself, my family and my country.
  • No, I'd rather kill
  • if i killed someone, i think i'd end up killing myself through the guilt.. unless of course, that person was like... a murderer, chasing me with a knife or something.
  • I would rather kill. And that is assuming it is a zero sum game - either them or me.
  • I'd probably kill two people first....
  • I would rather kill in defense of myself or my family or others for that matter than be killed... I would rather be killed however than kill without justification...
  • I would rather be killed than kill another person. I have asked myself questions like this my whole life. A harder question would be to ask: "Would you rather kill someone who is trying to kill a loved one, or would you rather let them die?" If you answer like most of us would, then you must say that you would KILL to save a "Loved one". Who is to say that the life of your loved one is more viable than that of the "Attacker"?? You would probably answer:"That it is their fault (The attacker) for attacking MY Loved one. And that is the reason that THEY should die. BUT,..this leads to another question: "If you (Me) would allow yourself to die, rather than to kill your attacker, why do you (Me) hold my own life LOWER than that of a "Loved One"??? I only have one answer. And that is that in ALL situations, I would hope that I would seek to give up my life, in any case, so as to set myself free. The Bible says: He that seeks to save his life will loose it. But he that seeks to give up his life, will find it. I think that this means that if you seek love of human kind over love of yourself (Even at the expense of your living, breathing life); then you have GAINED LIFE and much, much more! Many other "Faiths" stand around principles that are exactly the same as this, or very similar to this.
  • Most of the time I would agree. But if you start shooting at me I WILL shoot back!
  • No, if someone took another persons life I would happily kill them if I knew it wasnt going to do me a disservice
