You shouldn't put extra stress on your body and allow it to heal. All the energy you expend to workout is needed by your body for this healing. The body is wise, just listen.

In my opinion you need to rest for working out. Your body is going to be weaker because it is fighting sickness. So it needs all of the strength that it can muster. Take a break. Get well first then work out again.
