Socks: does it make a difference if you wear them inside out, especially if your suit/outfit/uniform rides on your legs such that no one would ever be ever to see which side is out? Is it even proper to say that socks have an inside/out? Why?

I got it drummed in to me somehow that your underwear (including socks) should always be immaculate - in case you end up having a misfortune or an accident and end up in hospital. At least you would have your pride intact!! As for an inside out for socks, they have a seam which runs along the top of your toes and this is the decider for me.

You should NEVER wear socks inside out. and preferably wear them without shoes. (if you have sewn eyes on them that is)
