Can Windows XP & Linux OS be installed in the same computer? If so how?

    Yes, quite easily, in fact.

    1. Install Windows. When installing Windows, you'll come to a step about partitioning. Delete all the existing partitions on the computer and make a new one (C:) with however much space you want Windows to have. I'd recommend at least 60 GB.

    2. Once Windows is all set up, install Linux. If you use Ubuntu linux, there will be an option in the installer to create a new partition using all the unpartitioned space. That's what you want. Then just set up Linux.

    Whenever you restart the computer, a menu will come up asking you which operating system to use.
