I knew a woman who had the initials ASS, boy was she extra happy when she got married. I considered it and came up with SPA. . .back to the drawing board.

We did... If we had a girl, I wanted Jessica Elaine..., Initials would have been JES, meaning her nickname could be spelled by initials or shorted first name. We didn't want to give the kid a name like Allen Steven... (A.S.S. - I was careful about that.) They ended up with CMS and MSS.

Yes I did. I lived with an uncle named Andrew S. Smith. He always mentioned it to the pregnant family members.

I changed my last name prior to getting married, my initials went from STS to STD!!!!! My wife says I have an infectious personality!!!

Before I named all 3 of my kids I thought about everything they could possibly be called, and all of the nick names that would come about.

when i was being born my mom wanted to name me ASHLEY SARA and my last name starts with an S, well my initals would have be a very bad word. i think it is important to pay close attention to them

I considered nicknames, too. If you just have to have a certain name, throw in a fourth name. Anna Ella-Sara Simpson. My friend used both her grandmothers names in the middle just to make everyone happy...thank goodness for grandmother Ella. Oh, and no one said you couldn't hyphenate a first name to get a name in there somewhere. Sean-Ross Hathaway Cooper was a classmate. His mom said she couldn't decide on a name so used the first two to satisfy both families.

Sure, for specific names are a integral part of my family. My bro is Jon Wayne (the cowboy, though without the "h"), and my dad is Bruce Wayne (batman), though, of course, I am leaving out our last name for obvious reasons! LOL. I am thinking about naming any son I might ever have anthony wayne, but anything can happen!

I was marking a pupil's homework one day when I saw on the front of Wayne's book W.Ankerson.......don't think the parents were very bright ??????
