Are you really 'with it' or have you chosen to skip some updates in life because you prefer the retro side of it?

I can be both. But as I reach my older 40's, I refuse to follow most fashion and hairstyles of the younger generation.

I am only in my mid-thirties and there are plenty of "updates" I have chosen to skip. Not because I want to embrace being retro, but because I have other things to worry about. I only wear what I like, what fits and what suits me. I don't go crazy for cell phones that have cameras and play videos and music etc etc because I have other things that do that and I believe a phone should be used for making and receiving calls. But I do stay up on current events, I do keep up in politics. I keep up with busienss trends. I keep up with trends in real estate. I like keeping my home current and my decor fresh. I keep up with movies. I keep up with trends and notions that are important to me and to my lifestyle. I can't be bothered with the rest. I find that people who worry about keeping up with EVERYTHING usually either have no personal interests or personal drive, or, they have alot of free time on their hands.

I'm 13 and i wear modern clothes but i listen to oldies music. love it!

no Im not with it at all, I have too many real life things to handle rather than trying to keep up and stay with it. ;+) sorry.

I am somewhat "with it", but I am not a big fan of trends, so I skip many updates.
