I have no problem with you guys. One of my good friends is from Canada.

I love Canada!! I'm a Tour Director and my trips to Canada are always among my favorites. One of the main reasons for this is the lovely people I meet, ay?!;)
-
Excluding Northwestern Alberta, I'm just fine with all a' ya.

I, for one am hoping, praying we do not adopt your health care system, other than that I think you are great people. You have been a great ally in the interests of freedom. Those Mountie dudes seem to be fine fellows. The whole thing about Quebec acting like it hates the rest of you is kind of strange, kind of a San Francisco thing I guess..........
-
I like the way you speak.
-
I'm stareing out my hotel window looking at you right now. You seem like nice folks to me.

I was in Edmonton for a week. I thought the people were great. They were extremely polite. My company sends us all to training in Houston and the best time is watching to see who drinks more the Canadians or the people from Louisiana.

I personally like Canada, the people I just tolerate. They can be pretty aggressive, at least they were to me...

I have been to Canada twice and love the country, though I haven't seen all that much of it,..Manitoba and Saskatchewan. I have actually "met" more Canadians here in the U.S., both tourists and those who come down on the wheat harvest. Many Canadian contractors come down with their crews and equipment. There is always enough work to go around. Honestly, despite a slight accent difference, I can't tell much difference between us.

If I have to generalize, based on my experience Canadians are a nice blending of English, French and American cultures with a lot of good solid frontier attitude and a good set of values. Tough but freindly.
