It's not necessarily a bad place to get your ears pierced but they use a gun. A gun shatters more skin around the hole, therefore taking longer to heal and getting infected easier. I have 11 piercings in my ears and by far the less painful and more successful have been the ones I've had done with needles. (professionally, of course)

I worked at a Claire's for 3 1/2 years. They do use a gun, however, it's not the kind that shoots through your ear when you pull the "trigger". It's your own hand pressure that pushes the earring through the ear so it won't shatter (kind of a drastic word, ay?) the skin. They also use piercing earrings that are the same guage as regular earrings instead of the thicker ones like they use to. Claire's is a fine to get your ears pierced as long as the person doing it was trained properly. : )

YES!!!!!!!!!! Of course! so far i have got my ears pierced there twice! they are very clean and sterile, and now they use guns that dont break apart your skin! The also use a different gun for each person! Dont listen to these other people! Claire's is a very friendly and sterile place where I believe EVERYONE should get their ears pierced at...

I would say no. Because my friend's Cousin got thier ears piecred at Claires. And the next day her ears were puffed up and had some kind of pus that smelled really bad, and it was bledding, and you coould'nt put earings in it. I would recemmend the icing. I went there. Also alot of people told me not to go to Claire's someone told me that this teenager had to take her shirt off just for a belly button pierecing!
