Wow - very controversial issue. Are you suggesting legalizing age discrimination, changing federal law? Many people at that age are quite capable. As it stands now, doctors and police officers can forward info to the DMV requiring review/suspension of license based on actual events, i.e. vehicle accident, medical issues, etc.

not 60, 60 isn't old. I'd say 70 seems about right, maybe 75.

I can't see where it would hurt a thing. If you can't pass a drivers test at anytime, you shouldn't be driving on the road. There are many things that come into question as people age and get older. Many thing which should be taken into consideration, such as eye sight, disabilities, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, along with many known diseases which come in getting older and could impair a driver's ability of driving safely. It is a scary thing when seeing people driving you know in your own mind should be relying on another driver.
