Depends which failure, of what nature, you mean. If it is a failure of morals or ethics, definitely ashamed. If it's a huge risk, especially monetary, more afraid.

Neither. I don't believe that anything happens without reason - we have something to learn from everything we choose to do. Life is one big lesson.

Ashamed only of failures in my character. Failures for other reasons are for lack of knowledge or experiences and I consider those failures as milestones in the overall picture as they make us better. (enlightenment). Afraid of falures in my character but not failures for other reasons as I know they will give me knowledge which I can use for greater things.

ashamed or afraid of failures in my life. No. I suppose I could be embarrassed..but that would only mean that I hadn't tried to do the right thing. By really trying to do the correct thing I don't see how anyone could be afraid or embarrassed.
