My HOA just sent me a notice that I can no longer park my service van, I am an electrician, at my home. They said the Board decided this type of vehicles is no longer allowed, though it's been okay over 10 years. Can they do this?

Read the agreement you signed. there is probably a "catch-all" clause that allows the board to make this decision. there apparently was a complaint about your van. It does not seem correct, but living in an HOA area is very restricted. If you have parked your van there for the past ten years, without any complaints, then apparently a new tennant has moved in and filed the complaint. Take out extra insurance on your van, if you are forced to park it elsewhere. thieves know no boundaries. -
