  • That "we use 10% of our brains" is a myth -- we use all of our brain all of the time -- there are no dormant areas in a neuro-physiologic sense. The saying is a metaphor for how much potential is within each of us. Still, it's possible for something to evoke a memory that we haven't though about in a very long time. It could be a phrase, an image, a voice, or a smell that triggers a "dormant" memory.
