It is alot easier said than done, really think about it, we know you would die for your kids or loved ones, but what would you really die for if you had a choice and dying for country on foreign soil is'nt one of them.

I would die protecting the ideal of personal rights... I would break-up a fight to save someone (and Have)...I would chase down a thief (and Have)...I would stand up to a rapist (and Have)...I would save someone from drowning (and Have)...I would surprise a home-intruder (and Have...Naked...well...He startled me first!)...I would wrestle a purse snatcher (and Have)...I would protect a child from violence (and Have)...I would pull a person from a burning car or building...and Have NOT... Maybe that's why I'm still alive...lol... These things I've done...not knowing the immediate reason or moral belief behind the act...it JUST SEEMED LIKE IT NEEDED DOING...without thinking..it's fight NOT flight...and then I find myself standing there shaking ... after the danger is over...not quite believing what I have just done... wondering how I am still...a.o.k...I guess...some things like invading a person's right to their own "personal safety and space" pushes my "somebodies gotta do something" buttons.

To find a cure for a disease like Cancer or AIDS. If I -knew- my death would somehow make a major contribution to saving so many other people... it's worth dying.
