  • there could be water in the lense, or the connector, bridging it; activating it. Is the key still in the ignition (even though it's off) when this happens? If there is truly no power to that system, you might have a computer problem - you see, really, two things need to fail for what your describing to occur, and this is unusual.
  • It is also possible there is a signal lamp out (near the one that's staying on - in some cars the symptom you describe is intentional; check your manual.
  • also, check this forum too: http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/
  • I have a 2001 Daewoo Leganza the just started to have this problem. The turn signal lights both stay on. The front parking lights, the side turn signal lights, and the rear parking lights all stay on even after the ignition is turned off and the key is removed. It happened once last night and corrected itself within a few minutes after I got home. Tonight, it happened again so I checked the fuses; all okay. I removed the negative battery cable and the driver's side lights went out when I replaced the cable. After removing the cable again, I left it off and will let the computer reset overnight. Hopefully, all will be reset tomorrow morning.
