Why are so many people answering questions on here instead of going out and doing something else?

Well, I'm lazy for starters. Going out and doing something would require some real motivation. And besides, I live in Kansas. What do you suggest I go do? Count corn stalks? Search for the Wizard of Oz? I think I'll stay on the couch and offer useless answers to strangers instead. :)

I do it because i'm stuck at work and sometimes work gets slow. i don't come here if I'm not at work.

Because people like you are too busy asking questions on here rather than doing something else. Besides, my town has nothing for the 20-somethings to do.

I have a form of agoraphobia, and I would rather help the masses from the comfort of my computer chair then talk to people I don't know. Well, some of you I don't know, but I don't have to explain to you not to touch me, or stare at me, or get in too close of proximity to my person. That being said, I hope it is answer enough for you. Because lots of us have work we have to do from home, and AB is a way to relieve some of the stress of that. if I am home and online, AB is always open on a tab. Popping over and answering a question or leaving a comment is a great break.

Because my boyfriend is conducting his World of Darkness game in our living room and I have nothing better to do.

Because it's a snow storm. Because I love my home and enjoy being here with my husband and pets. I don't like going out. It's not fun to me.

For your information, I am going out and doing something else. I have a wireless connection on my laptop, and it goes everywhere I go, even in the bathroom. hahaha Good thing we don't have smell-a-screen.

You assume this is all we do. I spent two hours in the gym today. Some people can't go outside. They are sick or somehow impaired.
