One Day Diet is a misnomer - it lasts more than one day. What it involves is dieting one day and eating as usual the next, dieting the third day, eating as usual the fourth day, etc. In other words it's an 'Alternate Days Diet.' Some people will try to sell you special foods to eat on your dieting day. I don't know if you are supposed to combine it with any fitness/exercise regime or not, but it probably wouldn't hurt. I don't know how well it works, but like any diet, it will work for some people.
