I wouldn't use the word "threatened," nor would I make any major public pronouncements about it. But there have been times when I've discussed with one or two friends whether or not a break was in order.

No - I find it humorous that people would actually feel that "threats" of leaving here actually mean something. If they threatened to stay - now that would make an impact.

I am new enough that i think the threat of leaving would not impact too many users, therefore would not be much of a treat at all! But in any case, AB RULES!!!!!!

I have thought of leaving and taking a long break. I let some people know, but I guess I'm too addicted to stay away long.

No I hardly think my saying I was thinking about going would be a threat to anyone. When I take a break I just go I do not make a big farewell are you going to miss me production I just take time off. When I feel ready I return, most of the time nobody even notices. There are always more people to take your place none of us are indispensable.

Never. If I don't want to be here, I just would leave. I think talking about it in high drama style is childish and attention seeking....not to be confused with discussing it with friends. But I haven't done either of these.

Nahhh, that's what breaks are for. A lot of people "threaten" to leave via questions. Personally, I think it's all drama. If you leave, use your profile and go quietly. Chances are you just need a break and you'll be back. You can't leave forever and you know it :) Threatening to leave because somebody is giving you a hard time? Same applies. Contact a CL or the AB Staff. If the issue is resolved then drop it. Take a break if you need too and don't come back telling everyone that you left because you were picked on, bullied, or whatever. That is not productive--move on and continue to be a happy AB camper. Many people have left or taken a break in a drama-free manner. I applaud those that behaved and continue behave gracefully. Threatened? No...I've never used my leaving the Bag as a threat. I've wanted to leave for personal reasons before, but I doubt anyone would be too distraught over me leaving, and "threatening" to leave...If I ever had that big of an ego as to "threaten" someone that I would leave, kick me in the ass and tell me to smarten the f*** up.

Not really "threatened," but I told AB-Rich once to change my username to Anonymous and remove all users from my friends list after I was Penalty Boxed in March this year. I told him that I was done with Answerbag. Now I realize, heh, if you gotta leave, then just leave. It wouldn't be the end of the world if a user has decided to leave AB. No need to make a big deal out of it.

I -sorta- did. It was retarded, but I admitted it and uh, was having a bad day, or some such thing. Still, better than a lot of people who come back and still drag their half assed attention covering justification to the bitter end. :/

i was gone for like 8 months.. when i came back, everyone was new and i got to start fresh... me & AB didn't get off on the right foot, back then they didn't like homework questions and i had homework questions and there was this whole issue over it like i killed their cat or something... but that's a thing of the past, same account though :)

Nah, I enjoy it here and have made a lot of friends. Sure, there are a few bad apples that try to spoil it for the whole bunch, but they are out-numbered!
