Tornado destroys your house, weeks later cable company bills you for damaged cable boxes, $2,000 dollars worth. I find this very insensitive of the company what are your thoughts?

Although they maybe right in asking for payment but, I would sue them in court for pain and anguish and have them stand there and explain it in front of a judge. All that said, home owners insurance should pick up the tab.

Perhaps insurance would cover?? not that you should be held liable or anything, just a thought.

Forget the baby! Get the box into the cellar! I think you'll find that your contract with the cable company holds neither you nor the company responsible for "Acts of God" or "Acts of Nature.," which means events outside of human control.

I think you should try to publically embarass the cable company..go public.
