I sure hope it doesn't. I like them both but they are not similar. I don't watch anime but love to draw it and save pics. If they DO include it in anime it could be cause of their eyes lol. Not sure though. Archies have more similar eyes to anime then scooby people.

well, first of all you need to understand the definition of anime. It's refers to an animation style that originated in Japan. BUt recently,even though if a cartoon wasn't created in Japan, but is following the distinctive drawing style of Japan, it will still be termed as an anime. Animes are usually recognized by characters having elfish facial features along with big eyes. So, first of all, based on the old definition of anime, Scooby Dubby Doo ain't an anime cuz it was created by hanna-barbera in America. Based on the new definition, it doesn't follow the distinctive features of Japanese drawings. Therefore, Scooby is NOT an anime, but as far as "Avatar, The Last Airbender" is concerned, the topic is debatable. I hope my answer proves sufficient for you!

Scooby Doo and anime should NOT be used in the same sentence!!! Scooby do is a million times better then anime!
