they should given more... and not allowed to take private money. elections should be fair and that includes money... candidates should receive the exact same amounts of money and same amount of air time.

as dr james has said ban all political donations, give each candidates the same amount of money and dump the two party crap...if it was a level playing field them just maybe a third or forth political party might run for office and maybe some of the independents may get a run and before you scoff at the idea remember that they can't do any worse than the ones who are or have been in office
