Sounds like you have Type 2 diabetes. You can help control your BS with diet and exercise. You really should be discussing this iwht a medical professional who understands your condition, and can discuss your living habits with you. However, as a point to start, limit the animal fats in your diet, look at eating low GI foods to avoid the sugar spikes and take some exercise at least twice a day - 20 minutes walking twice a day will be of benefit if you are not already exercising an are unfit. If you regularly drink alcohol then perhaps you need to decrease that also, and if you smoke then look at significantly reducing it, preferrably quitting altogether. I am sorry that I cannot be any more specific, but you really need to speak to a dietitian and your doctor or some other qualified health professional before your high BS causes permanent physical damage. Good luck and let us know how you go on.

I would sure see the doctor. I had to go on insulin for a time just to get stabilized. It helped while I was getting fit and taking care of myself so I could go off of it. Good luck! +3
