Do people atomatically assume that atheists are pessimists just beca\use they don't have a religion?

I actually thing people would view them as optimists for they have no imposed religious hang ups and ,at times,guilty feelings.

I have not found atheists to be pessimists. I am likely to get raked for this but for the most part I find atheists to defensive and arrogant. There are certainly exceptions but most atheists think they are smarter than Christians and ridicule anyone who could believe in God. I find this disturbing.

No. I don't think so. Christians and Atheists can be equally annoying though, when they think each other is stupid for their beliefs. Just respect and mind yourself.

No, I believe atheist are realistic and can see beyond the superstition and controlling dogma of religion.

No - I do find people automatically assume I have nothing to live for, no principles, no morals and no reason for any form of moral behaviour though. I find that extremely annoying, for it's ignorance, arrogance and assumption that god-folk are the sole custodians of any form of moral fibre...

Definition of a God: God can be Singular, Plural, Female, Male. Also can be label of God Mother, God Father. Or in any shape or form. Those who believe in a God as defined as above have a problem. They have defined weaknesses, limitations which removes important attributes of a creator. The atheist say: There is no God. So they deny the above definitions of God, as they will not believe in a God on same level as human description or shape or form which is limited. But deny a creator, but they have no proof. I believe in a creator. Which is believing There is no God/Gods ( As defined above and as athiests believe) But I believe in the unseen. A unseen creator which has created the tangible, physical, real existence of us. As we could not be born out of nothing unless created by a creator who has no shape or form, no partners and is all powerful to create as it wishes. So an athiest cannot deny they say: There is no God! = La ila ha 70% of what muslims believe. They only need to be convinced of 30%: Illalah = But Allah.
