well, most of the girls i knew as virgins said that for the first few times, yeah, they bled... and my ex was NO exception... so i suppose it is normal.

It's perfectly normal. There are often tiny tears that will bleed a tiny bit, they may hurt. If it hurts really bad you may want to see a doctor.
