What's the grossest, most foul tasting thing you ever ate? For me it's tripe - the texture was just nasty!

I bought tripe but never could figure out how to use it. I think its made into some kind of soup? I ended up just throwing it out. (What did you make out of it?) Buttermilk was the worse thing I ever tasted. Can't stand it to this day.
