Insurance policies usually have an "act of god" clause. Should that apply to atheists?

Hilarious! That would really piss them off if they were denied, wouldn't it?! "What do you mean it was an act of God? I don't believe in God, so your rule shouldn't apply to me!" Funny stuff.

Love the question. Unfortunately I believe act of nature is in my policy. But it was a good thought.

Most insurance companies do not have an "act of God" clause anymore. It's now called disaster coverage, or natural disaster coverage.
