FAMILY infact my dog is more family then most family members.

My dog is family - he's 13 and was my first baby. However, the fish and the green anoles that belong to my kids are not! Having said that, it is me that takes care of the bloomin' things!

Secondary family. Everyone else just says family, but I'd grab my kids in a fire before I'd grab my pets. Granted, I'd go in again for them too after I got the people, but not at the expense of my own life the way I would for the people. Still, getting a pet is a lifetime thing - and getting rid of a pet isn't in the picture any more than getting rid of a kid would be. And caring for them, no matter what, is.

Any one that sees pets as disposable should not have them in the first place. I treat my pets better that i treat my husband. They say that dogs are a mans best friend, i agree with that 10000000%.
