Not as much as a regular petition would be. The pols (state level) I have talked to do not discount them at all, but count them for about half as much as a regular one.

Yes, they are credible. Environmental and animal rights sites use them all the time - and they do make a different. Example, Defenders of Wildlife or the World Wildlife Federation.

Not really no, too open to cheating, and no one takes it seriously.
