This could be for a number of reasons. For example, if you're using Windows Vista, the non connection to the internet on Wireless connections is a known issue. It is more likely though that DHCP isn't functioning correctly for some reason. To resolve this, I'd suggest resetting the router initially or flush the dns resolver cache and release and renew the IP address using ipconfig.
