Do you reasearch (e.g. Google) when answering or do you use your own general knowledge?

Both usually. My general knowledge to get things started then a search engine to get links to more information on the subject.

I try to use more of my own knowledge when possible, but sometimes it helps to look something up.. usually what i'll write is what i know... then throw in what i was able to find through google. more info can be found here http://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/06/05/gaming-with-googles-help/

I tend to use Google for reference, so I don't do something silly like post the wrong information! Check myself out, so to speak, before I write anything. (+pts.2.U.)
