Ha! "The heart is deceitful above all things." Jeremiah 17:9 My heart has certainly led me astray from time to time. The head can do the same, though, so I think it's important to listen to both.

No. Jeremiah 17:9 in God's Word, the Holy Bible, says: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and deseprately wicked: who can know it?" (Note: "things" in this verse is italicized. I don't have any way of italicizing it on here that I know of, so I just put this here to show that it is.) Thank you and may God bless you. :) -In Jesus' Name.

No..the heart can trick you all the time.

Aside from being fooled by a couple of liars and sociopaths, I find that my heart gives a good feeling about most people whom I come across in the real world.:)

lol, no; it's wrong in just about every sense ; )
-
The heart lies when it is beneficial for the heart to do so.

Only the brain can come up with the construct to think, articulate, and unfortunately, deceive. The brain interprets the heart. The place of feelings and emotionality -- that source of love, pain, and anger -- is raw and uncensored. It is our mind that makes sense of that complex place within us.

I was going to say Yes, but then I read the other answers... I'm easily lead by my heart, but my head always tell it off! And failing that, I get butterflies in my stomach followed my a <<really BAD>> headache!! So yeh, I think the heart's a terrible liar... ♪♫♪♪Don't believe a word, not a single word is true, don't believe me if I tell you - 'specially if I tell you that I'm in love with you ...♪♫♫

Perhaps the heart doesn't lie, but we might not interpret the feelings correctly.
