  • Completely natural. It shows that you have grown, changed, and matured over the years! Tastes change, it happens to all of us!
  • I dunno. They still work for me.
  • You know, I am in my mid-thirties, and feel this way about music that I enjoyed in my teenage years. For whatever reason, I just don't like the music I did when I was 10-19 or so. I do love lots of music from many eras, and a lot of my friends celebrate and love the music we listened to back in school, but it just doesn't "do" anything for me at all. I haven't lost my mind, I don't think. :)
  • You might have listened to the wrong songs. There are some of them you can only like as a teenager, but there are others that are almost timeless. Consider "Walk on the Wild Side" for example. I think it simply doesn't sound dated.
  • for me its the opposite.... i am 19 years old, so i havent listened to the 70 and 80s songs (as i wasnt born then :P ) but i hate the crap that gets lisstened to nowdays. i ADORE retro music, and have atleast 20 gig worth of the best songs around. (ACDC, whitesnake, foreighner, zztop, prodigy, supermax, (nobody knows about supermax... genious though! ) and many many more!) i LOVE it! @ question, i guess its pretty much normal... if youve listened to them all your life, perhaps you are already bored of them.... (cannt imagine HOW, but possible :) )
