Why do some people in the southern U.S. think that we canadians live in igloos. We don't and we live in normal houses like everyone else!!!

lol! igloos ;) ignorance i guess. the sad part is that it only feeds the stereotype that we southerners are all stupid when many, like myself, aren't. though i do have an advantage, my dad is canadian, and my sister is eskimo! really, no lie!!! my dad was born near toronto and my grandparents moved to the states when he was in his mid teens. he then joined the u.s. air force and after he married and i was born we eventually adopted my sister.

I don`t live in an igloo, although I did live in a teeppee for a brief period. Or was it a wigwam, can`t remember.

It could be a lack of traveling opportunities to see and experience the life style in foreign countries. Regards.
