I bought a mp3 player for $40 and it's 1 GB and last up to 15 hours on a single AAA battery, is it a good deal? Even if it's a good deal, I get static noises from it when I change a song. :( Does that annoy you?

Yes, that's a pretty good deal. The unfortunate thing is 1 GB doesn't hold a lot of songs. The static wouldn't annoy me.
